My Farewell at
SET in INDUSTRY SUNDAYS AT TATTOO
So as most of my friends know, I am embarking on a 5 month long backpacking adventure to South America leaving tomorrow (January 26th, 2010). And I thought to my self why not have a get together to see a bunch of my friends one last time before I take off, so I started shooting out messages on my phone and Facebook telling my friends to come out and wish me well at Tattoo on Sunday.

I got in touch with Angelica (INK promoter) and told her I was coming down and about 20 or so of my friends would be joining me. Needless to say she hooked it up with line by pass and no cover (although a Haiti benefit was happening early on in the night so we tossed in money for a good cause regardless). Despite the fact my friends all arrived at different times throughout the night, none of them had any issues at the front door which is always nice. So if you’re looking to get hooked up on a Sunday @ Tattoo get in touch with Angelica and tell her Aaron from Partypm sent you, she can be reached at angelica@ink-00.com
As for the night, this was my third time checking out Tattoo’s weekly Sunday night industry party (you can read about the previous visits here) and it once again lived up to the high expectations I have come to expect after the first two amazing nights I had there. Despite it being January with many clubs being slow as people recover from breaking their banks in December and drinking their faces off over the holidays, there were at least a couple hundred people out and partying. Still cheap drinks, still a good-looking crowd, still a good vibe. Throw in a dozen or so rounds at the bar and a bottle of vodka at the booth and some good friends, what more could a guy ask for in a send off party? Ok maybe a couple of rippers, an open bar and fireworks would have topped that but I was quite happy with what I got.

That being said, 24 hours from now I will be on a plane heading to Santiago, Chile to embark on 5 months of wild adventures in South America. I will do my best to do writing while I’m down there so you can live vicariously through me, and hopefully I can inspire you to do some adventures of your own.
